The driving school trains for all licence classes, including mopeds, motorcycles, passenger cars and lorries. The passenger car course can be taken in English, with English-speaking instructors and English theory material. It includes risk-recognition training, and one driving lesson is done in a simulator while the rest take place in a real car.
The school traces its roots to a Kajaani driving school founded in the 1940s. It runs its own training track in Kivimäki, used for basic, advanced and refresher training, for the professional competence training of lorry and bus drivers, and for slippery-surface practice. The fleet includes passenger cars, lorries, mopeds and motorcycles. Courses are also offered in traffic safety, first aid and occupational safety, plus night driving training.
