This amateur theatre association was founded in March 1997. It stages one to three productions a year, averaging just over two, and has put on more than 60, including farce, comedy, drama, classics, improv nights, and children's and puppet plays. Many of its plays and revues are original, and some have been translated and also staged in Finnish. The aim is to entertain, amuse, provoke thought and inspire audiences. In 2020 the play Babyface won the Finnish amateur theatre premiere award.
Every summer it runs a Swedish-language summer theatre at Lillholmen, said to be the only one of its kind in the area. It also organises guest performances, theatre trips, courses and drama clubs for children and young people. Adults and children can join as members, with benefits for some productions and trips. Costumes can be rented from the theatre wardrobe, and a scholarship fund supports active young people. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
