This guesthouse and fish shop stands on the shore of Lake Simpelejärvi beside main road 6. The buildings were formerly a border guard station, and the Russian border is very close. In the yard there is a fish shop and smokehouse selling fish delicacies. The guesthouse offers lake and landscape views, including sunsets over Lake Simpelejärvi.
The restaurant serves overnight guests by prior arrangement and other guests by order. The owner runs the business and is on site, and it is open all year. Breakfast is included with the stay, and Wi-Fi and parking are free. The guesthouse is child-friendly and non-smoking, but there is no pool or gym.
