This river is used for fishing and is looked after by a registered angling association. Fishing licences for the river are sold on the association's website.
The association organises hobby and club activities, competitions, courses, fishing trips and other events. Youth work is a core part of its activities, with youth clubs, courses, competitions and fishing-focused camps. Anyone can join as a member. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
