Run by Napapiirin Residuum Oy, the recycling station accepts sorted waste from residents, holidaymakers and businesses. Staff guide unloading. Accepted materials include metal, wood, garden waste, textiles, tyres and hazardous waste.
Loads are limited to one trailer; larger loads must go to the company's recycling park. Waste is sorted by material. Secondary reception for businesses is also available under a municipal secondary waste service agreement. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
