The English-focused nursery began as a play school in spring 1988 and became a full-day nursery in 2000. Groups cover ages one to five, with pre-primary education for six-year-olds. The staff traditionally include at least one native English speaker, alongside assistants speaking Russian and Ukrainian.
Education combines international and intercultural learning with celebrations and customs from English-speaking countries and Finland. Facilities include a dedicated pre-primary room, dining hall and small-group rooms. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
