Built in 1804, this Gustavian-style parsonage with a mansard roof serves as an arts and cultural venue. Transferred from the parish to the city in 1986, it is surrounded by Sylvin Kekkosen puisto, a park with a memorial to the writer who was born here.
Summer brings art exhibitions, concerts and family theatre, staged since 2007 with child and young actors among the cast. Riksun Herkut café operates during exhibition periods. In winter, the adult education centre runs art courses and an art school here. The entrance, toilet and parking area are accessible.
