The local heritage museum occupies an old grain warehouse acquired by its heritage association in 1960. The association was founded in 1958 to promote knowledge of the local area and its culture.
It publishes local books and a Christmas magazine and organises a genealogy research day. Its restored old vicarage, Wanha pappila, can be hired for events of around 80 people. Local-themed cards and jewellery inspired by an archaeological find are also produced.
