Founded in April 1958, this local heritage association runs a museum in an old grain warehouse and owns Wanha pappila, an old vicarage restored for heritage work. Its activities include local history publications, regional cards and jewellery inspired by an archaeological find.
The vicarage can be hired for events of around 80 people. The association runs an open genealogy research day with experts and family associations, and also rents out a furnished apartment.
