Run by municipally owned Puhas Oy, the waste station accepts sorted household waste such as paper, cardboard, glass, metal, wood and electrical equipment. Hazardous household waste includes paints, solvents, batteries, oils and chemicals.
Clothes and household textiles for charity donation should be packed in plastic bags. Asbestos is not accepted and must go to Kontiosuo waste centre. Business waste requires an agreement with Puhas for the municipality's secondary waste service. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
