The amateur theatre began in 2009 as an adult education centre's theatre group, with the association registered in 2012. It produces one summer play each year and cooperates with the adult education centre. It aims to give young people a theatre hobby and develop community and presence skills.
Summer performances take place at the Meri-Porin partiolaiset scout house. A three-day theatre camp is held for children and young people each summer. Volunteers help with ushering, coffee service, ticket sales and construction. The entrance, car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
