This main library belongs to the Satakirjastot shared library system of Satakunta. Besides the main library, the city library has eight other branches and a mobile library bus. The online library offers e-materials and e-books through the Satakirjastot network. The exhibition space hosts exhibitions chosen through an open call, and events include author visits, lectures, reading dog sessions, game events and a writing competition. The library also has its own podcasts, social media channels and a newsletter.
Materials can be reserved free of charge, and an interlibrary loan service is available. Self-service photocopying is offered in black and white and in colour. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
