This day-care centre belongs to the Pilke päiväkodit Oy chain, which runs about 210 day-care centres, preschools and after-school clubs across Finland. Early childhood education is based on learning through everyday life and play, and the chain's centres may have their own emphases, such as languages, nature, sports, music or arts.
A place is applied for online, and an introductory visit with the child can be arranged. Meals are provided at the centre, with a published menu. The chain's centres also run free family cafés.
