The fraternal order bases its activities on friendship, love and truth. It seeks personal character development and a sense of belonging through tolerance and care for others. It does not take a position on political or religious questions.
Local associations are organised as lodges or camps, with Finnish- and Swedish-speaking brother and Rebekah lodges. Members progress through a degree system. The membership application process is described on the website and is open to those who accept the order's principles.
