Founded in 1936, the local trade union branch represents more than 2,000 members in the municipal group. Two full-time chief shop stewards work alongside local representatives and officials on members' interests.
Members have access to leisure activities and insurance benefits through Turva. They can join the unemployment fund for public and welfare sectors and use KTV sickness fund services subject to their terms. The website is in Finnish.
Are you a member of the branch? Describe its representation and activities in the comments for other employees.
