The hostel is housed in a historic former maternity hospital built by Alva Forsius and opened in 1902. Ten rooms offer 29 bed places in total, with rooms for one to five people. Each room has a bed, table, chair, mirror, lockable wardrobe, TV and fridge. Bed linen is included, but sleeping bags are not allowed for hygiene reasons.
Showers and toilets are shared and located along the corridor, and guests can use a self-service kitchen. Breakfast is not included, but there is a cafe at the adjacent swimming hall. Free Wi-Fi covers the whole building, parking in the yard or the neighbouring car park is free, and bicycles can be stored in the building. The building is non-smoking, with smoking allowed in the yard. Pets are welcome by arrangement. Reception staff speak Finnish, Swedish and English and can help with travel questions. The old building is not accessible.
