Consecrated in 1740, the red wooden church stands beside the cathedral in a courtyard bordered by linden trees and stone walls. Holding about 170 people, it has an 18th-century altar crucifix, two 19th-century altarpieces and an eight-stop organ built by Bror Axel Thulé in 1887. Restoration in 1973–1974 was directed by Professor Nils Erik Wickberg.
The parish rents it for weddings, baptisms, funeral blessings, small concerts and cultural events. Catering can be brought in or ordered. Alcohol is allowed only for toasts. A hearing loop and toilet are provided. The entrance and parking are accessible.
