This florist specialises in cut flowers and flower arranging. It began in November 1964, when gardener Gunnar Bäck opened the first Kukkatalo. The current co-owners are his daughter Ann-Len Bäck and four other florists with 20–30 years of experience. The range includes funeral and sympathy flowers, wedding flowers, bouquets, potted plants and gift cards, plus trendy indoor plants and seasonal flowering pot plants. Flower courses are also run.
Flowers can be ordered online for home delivery, and orders placed before 13:00 can arrive the same day. The shop favours domestic products and suppliers where possible, seeks more sustainable materials and packaging, and works with local businesses. The website is in Finnish, Swedish and English. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
