The gallery and studio focus on contemporary ink art and exhibitions as research in a historic wooden house with parts dating to 1750. Ink artist Pan Jianfeng has used the building as a home and studio since 2015. A separate garden gallery measures 15 m².
The ground-floor studio opens into a living room for workshops, public discussions and tea ceremonies. Summer exhibitions give way to studio work in winter. The attic residency hosts up to four artists, curators or researchers exploring ink art's past, present and future.
