Founded in 1902, the multi-sport club has sections for bandy, cycling, football, athletics, handball, fitness, orienteering and skiing. It adopted its later name in 1906 and was registered as an association in 1925. Olympic history includes Adolf Lindfors's gold in 1920 and Heikki Liimatainen's team golds in 1920 and 1924.
The club organises Topgames Sprint, with results and a stream published online. A club history covering 1993–2022 is also sold through the website.
