Owned by Wessölandets Ungdomsförening r.f., the community hall was built in 1915 largely by volunteers using timber donated by local farmers. It opened in January 1916. Swedish-language local heritage is central to the association.
The hall is hired for weddings, birthdays and other events, with parts available for meetings. The building has been altered and renovated over time. Its history is documented in Pinja Karlqvist's 2022 diploma thesis.
