This family-owned small hotel stands in the Lapland wilderness on the shore of Lake Kirintöjärvi, near Kirintövaara fell. Besides accommodation it offers a restaurant, meeting and event services and activity programmes. The rooms were refurbished in autumn 2023 with Pentik textiles and ceramic art, and the hotel holds Green Key certification. Restaurant Kisura serves breakfast and, to order, Lappish dishes based on game, fish, mushrooms and berries.
The auditorium seats about 80 and looks over the lake. The lakeside sauna has a large natural stone fireplace, and boats and canoes can be rented. Summer brings fishing and hiking; winter activities include snowmobiling, husky and reindeer encounters and snowshoe walks. The hotel hosts what it says is the world's northernmost ceramics centre and runs ceramics courses. The Kirinrinteet ski slopes are about 200 m away. Parking is free, pets are welcome and the building is non-smoking.
