Housed within Hotel Kirikeskus, the ceramic centre has about 100 m² of working space overlooking a lake. Equipment includes two electric kilns, a 3,000-litre gas kiln and a wood-fired kiln. The large gas kiln allows very large works to be fired.
Courses are offered for hobby ceramicists, with artist residencies in different seasons. An annual symposium brings together international ceramic artists, whose work is shown in the gallery. Gallery visits are by appointment. Accessible parking is available.
Tell other ceramicists on Suomi Guide about your course, studio or residency experience.
