Beside the Porvoonjoki river, the 66-square-metre apartment is furnished in Japanese style and accommodates up to six guests. Packages can include Japanese food, futon beds and a hinoki wood bath. Options range from one- or two-night stays to day visits and a half-day retreat.
The two-night group package includes use of a well-equipped kitchen. A two-hour Ikenobo-school ikebana flower arranging course includes materials and tea. Riitta Oikawa's adjacent Japan shop sells ceramics, kimonos, accessories and decorative items.
