Designed by Olavi Sortta and completed in 1954, the church has a high curved white ceiling lit to make the light appear to come from the ceiling itself. Paavo Tolonen's 1982 altarpiece depicts Jesus calling people and their different responses. There is seating for about 350. The churchyard includes a cemetery used from 1786 to 1890.
A ramp provides wheelchair access, including access to the communion table. The entrance hall has an accessible toilet with a baby changing table. A hearing loop, children's care room and accessible parking are also available.
