The day-care centre belongs to Touhula, a private early childhood education chain with 39 units across Finland. Each unit follows a theme such as sports, adventure or nature, and children can start from about 10 months old. Units have rest arrangements for ages 1 to 5, such as Torkkula and Virkkula.
Apply online; places can often be confirmed quickly. Each family signs a service agreement before care starts, and a guided visit can be arranged beforehand. The TouGo app is used for communication between the centre and families, for booking care times and reporting absences, and for sharing photos and weekly letters. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
