On the shore of Lake Saimaa, the cafe serves coffee, tea, cocoa, soft and alcoholic drinks, pizza slices, buns, sweets and ice cream. The area's campsite, dance hall and cafe were busy in the 1970s; after a recession closure, the hall and cafe reopened in the 2000s. A small room accommodates two guests.
The beach in front is suitable for swimming and sunbathing. The pier takes boats up to seven metres long, and overnight mooring and parking spots are available. The beach terrace operates in July when weather permits, with service moving to the cafe during prolonged rain. A website camera shows wind conditions. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
