This multi-purpose arena works as an ice hall and as a venue for concerts, festivals, exhibitions and theatre. Ice time is available from August to April, with a summer ice surface maintained in June. Outside the ice season it hosts roller hockey and indoor bandy (salibandy). Spacious changing rooms and drying facilities make it suitable for large tournaments, and several practice areas around the arena serve supplementary training and camps.
It hosts the annual Warrior Hockeyschool camp of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association and the international Täydenkuun Tanssit festival. Meeting rooms and sauna facilities can be used for meetings, events and sauna evenings, and stage curtains, a sound system, stage lighting readiness and wireless internet support event use. Ice time bookings and event or camp arrangements are handled by the arena's operating company. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
