Vestia's sorting yard accepts household waste and occasional business waste, up to a passenger car trailer load. Larger loads must go through the weighbridge at Ylivieska waste centre. Sort waste at home and pack it in the order of the collection bins.
Declare the load and pay by card at the self-service machine. Registered businesses may pay by invoice. Advisers assist through a remote control room, with staff on site on Wednesdays. The yard closes temporarily when the temperature falls below −25°C.
