The hunting lodge was completed in 1989, with construction beginning in 1987 through volunteer work on the foundations. The association was founded in 1936 and belongs to the Southwest Finland district of the Finnish Hunters' Association. The roof was extensively renovated in 2011 and the exterior painted in 2012.
The lodge stands beside the association's shooting range and hosts its meetings. The website provides a guest card and shooting range rules for members and visitors.
