The Cardigan Welsh Corgi kennel was established by Raili Suominen in 1985. Its first litter was born that June, with FIN Ch Eleanora as the foundation bitch. Suominen received the Finnish Kennel Club's Vuolasvirta breeding award in 1994.
Johanna Flinck runs the kennel. Its breeding aims are Cardigans with sound temperaments and agile bodies. Articles on agility with the breed are also published.
