The restaurant is owned by the staff organisations of the SSAB steel plant and serves plant personnel, subcontractors and visitors to the plant area. Most food is prepared in-house, using local domestic ingredients where possible. Staff are served a lunch, and a vegan option is offered on weekdays. Special diets are prepared from the first meal option.
The site also has Helge's Delicacies, an à la carte restaurant for visitors that offers meeting catering, and Kahvila Helge, a café with baked goods, seasonal products, breakfast and snacks. Helge TakeAway packs meals for shift workers. At the Picadeli salad bar you fill a bowl and pay by weight. The grill can be ordered from through an app, in advance or on site, with a notification when the food is ready. Menus are online as an eRuokalista with nutritional information. The entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
