On the northern shore of Lake Saimaa, this cultural home and residency hosts meetings, family celebrations and events. Activities include culture, art and wellness events, courses, training, retreats and Karelian evening concerts. It is run by musician Sari Kaasinen, founder of the folk group Värttinä. Accommodation is available for up to 20 people.
Rooms can be hired by businesses, organisations and individuals. Fibre broadband and AV equipment are available, and event programmes can be booked through the venue. Facilities include a sauna and hot tub, with overnight stays and breakfast offered. Forest trails surround the property. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
