Children are cared for in the childminder's own home, and the network's principle is a small group: up to four children per childminder, each with one familiar carer. Children go outdoors and exercise in nature every day, and home-cooked meals are part of the day. Childminders are trained, and the municipality supervises the activity.
A free trial visit to the childminder's home comes before a placement. A gradual start is possible, with a parent present during the first days. Applications are made through an online form.
