Founded in 1997 by a group of organisations and two cities, this foundation promotes rehabilitation, training and employment for people in a difficult labour market position. It is a non-profit social enterprise and covers the whole Southwest Finland region. Rehabilitation and coaching services include vocational support persons, job trials, work activity and vocational rehabilitation. Ote-klinikka supports mental wellbeing, stress situations, and mental health and addiction challenges.
For businesses it offers card training and subcontracting work, and it cooperates with schools through work placements, thesis work, projects and expert lectures. Profits from the OteShop online store go to developing its activities. In 2024 it received the Turku Chamber of Commerce ICT-teko recognition.
