The farmyard includes 19th-century main buildings, a stable and outbuildings. Icelandic-horse outings are tailored to each group, from beginners to those wanting faster riding. Visitors can also meet sheep, chickens, a rabbit, cats and dogs and join guided nature tours.
Accommodation is available in Peltola, a century-old log house renovated with modern comforts. In summer, an 18th-century lakeside barn sleeps two, with a toilet and shower in the main building. Activities around Lake Kuhajärvi include fishing, ice fishing, swimming, boating, skiing and snowshoeing.
