Operated by Napapiirin Residuum Oy, the self-service station accepts small waste loads from households, holiday residents and businesses under contract terms. Each visit is limited to one trailer; larger loads go to the Rovaniemi recycling park.
Loads are registered and paid for at a terminal, supported by remote supervision and an information point. Waste streams include hazardous waste, untreated wood, branches, stumps, packaging, tyres, tiles and small amounts of concrete and garden waste. Business use requires a contract under the secondary-responsibility waste arrangement.
