First mentioned in the 1500s, the farming and forestry estate lies on an island in the Ekenäs archipelago. Former workers' cottages have been rented to summer guests since the 1960s. Its landscape includes oak groves, woods, bedrock, mires and three lakes with undeveloped shores. Over 30,000 daffodils bloom in Blomdalen in May.
Cottages and festival sites can be rented in summer, with indoor spaces for celebrations and cultural events. The Byträsket and Långträsket wilderness area is protected under Natura. The main house is a private residence.
