A marked nature trail runs about 3.2 km from the harbour to the Stora Sandö fireplace. There are four fire sites with covered grilling shelters, each with two outhouses. Saws and axes are provided. The harbour has two boat piers, and rowing boats can be hired from the restaurant.
There are no bins along the trail, so take your rubbish back. Fishing permits are sold for a week or a year. Cabins are available year-round, and the campsite has guest and seasonal pitches. A private sauna can be reserved, with separate scheduled sessions for men and women too. The service building beside the restaurant has toilets, a shower, kitchen and dining space. Open Wi-Fi covers the restaurant area.
