Operating since 1909, the local energy company is wholly city-owned. It produces electricity and district heating and builds and maintains the local electricity grid. The company says all its energy is renewable; district heat is mainly produced from forest wood chips at the Tammisaari plant alongside electricity.
Services include solar packages with battery storage, electrical contracting, LED lighting and EV charging solutions. Heat pump maintenance washing is offered. Customer service is supported by fault reporting and an after-hours emergency line. The entrance and parking are accessible.
