The Western Uusimaa taxi company has over 15 vehicles, from regular cars to vehicles for up to eight passengers. Accessible taxis have a ramp or lift, space for manual or electric wheelchairs and room for an escort.
Same-day bookings are by phone; advance bookings can be made online. Services cover airport, harbour and station transfers, business and municipal transport, and school journeys with personal assistance for pupils with special needs. Kela and wellbeing services county journeys must be booked through the official centre. Longer trips across Finland can also be arranged.
