Run by the Pro Artibus foundation, this three-year residency is for professional Swedish-speaking visual artists and curators with a connection to Finland. The wooden villa, built in 1857, has two unfurnished apartments: a 133 m² four-room flat and a 95 m² three-room flat, both with kitchens. A private studio and a work grant from Svenska kulturfonden are included.
Artists may bring family and pets. The studio building beside the sea in the protected Ramsholmen area has two studios, a sauna, laundry, kitchen and shared meeting and work room. The furnished Torpet house is used for residency visits.
If you worked at the residency, share your experience in the comments for other artists considering applying.
