Built in the late 1940s, the round-log cottage and shore sauna sleep four plus two beside a lake. The main cottage has two sofa beds, an open fireplace and a stove. A sofa bed in the sauna hut sleeps two, and the sauna holds up to ten. The outdoor kitchen on a point has a baking oven, wood stove, fire pit and smoking box.
Solar panels supply electricity, with a generator as backup. There is no running water, so drinking water must be brought. Guests have a private shore, jetty, rowing boat and two fishing rods in summer. Pets are allowed on the floor, but not on beds or sofas. Bookings for nights or weeks are handled by Visit Rajamailla / Simmes Oy.
