The hotel stands in the town centre, about 800 m from the railway station, with a 24-hour reception. It has 50 rooms: singles, twins, doubles, triples and quadruples, plus a suite with its own sauna. Buffet breakfast is included on weekdays and weekends. The building dates from 1920, a hotel has operated in it since 1935, and it was rebuilt after the Winter War and reopened in 1941. A large mural by Maija Isola, painted in 2021, covers the exterior wall.
Wi-Fi is free in the rooms and public areas, and there is limited free parking on site. The sauna can be rented by individuals and companies, and the meeting rooms take groups of up to 40. Pets are welcome in some rooms and must be announced in advance. The J.A. Sandels Pub is inside the hotel. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible.
