Founded in 1947, the Pentecostal congregation relies on volunteer work. Its programme includes worship services, children's and youth activities, music evenings and themed days. Choirs and groups perform music ranging from traditional congregational songs to gospel and worship music.
Events are open to everyone. The congregation provides prayer support, pastoral conversation and food distribution. The prayer hall was built largely by volunteers in the late 1950s and dedicated in 1960. Recordings of past services are on YouTube. The entrance, parking and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
