This traditional, service-oriented garden centre has stood in the same place along the old Kolmostie road for about 50 years, owned from the start by horticulturist Lauri Sydänmaa. It is known for its large rhododendron collection, said to be among the largest in Scandinavia, with about 150 varieties in spring. The range covers shrubs, perennials, conifers, fruit trees, roses, herbs, vegetables, bulbs and seeds, with extra-large sizes for some species and Finnish-bred FinE varieties.
The shop is seasonal, open from April to November when garden plants can be planted. Pots, plant supports, fertilisers and pest control products are also sold. The online shop has run for about ten years and ships plants across Finland. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
