The kitchen cooks classic, simple food with a modern twist. It is a family business with over 25 years of history in Hyvinkää and the surrounding area. A buffet lunch with hot dishes, soup and a salad table is served on weekdays, Monday to Friday, and lunch plates from the kitchen and takeaway lunch are available. Special-diet options can be requested, and vegan lunch dishes are offered. Chef X ready meals made by the restaurant's chefs are sold in grocery stores.
There are rooms for groups of different sizes, including a private cabinet. Tables can be booked online, by phone or by email. In past years Christmas and Father's Day buffet lunches have been offered. Seating, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
