The school offers the extended syllabus of basic arts education in dance for recreational and goal-oriented students, including those preparing for professional training. Classes include ballet and mat pilates, with pilates balls available to borrow. Students perform in large productions alongside professional dancers.
Teaching takes each student's starting point into account, and classes can be tried before committing. Upper secondary school cooperation allows up to ten study credits for dance. Teaching takes place in studios and school sports halls in several localities. The school is maintained by Kulttuuriyhdistys Kuukernuppi ry, with a teaching licence and support from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
