This trade union local brings together metal and technology industry workers and students in those fields. It is governed by a board of workplace shop stewards and other active members and holds an annual Christmas gathering.
Membership is open to people working locally at companies applying the technology industry collective agreement. A form is available from the workplace shop steward, and online joining is possible through the Industrial Union's website. The office is in the Majakka shopping centre.
