The funeral business began operating in 1960 under earlier names. Run by Elina and Juha Keränen, it arranges funerals, undertakes gravestone work and provides catering under the Huokaus name. It serves Kainuu and, when needed, the rest of Finland.
Families take part in planning the funeral arrangements. The company follows the Finnish Funeral Directors' Association ethical guidelines and European standard SFS-EN 15017. In-person service is available.
